Meet Our Newest Community Ambassador - A-Pro Associates

At the ECRC, we are thrilled to announce the onboarding of our latest Community Ambassador, A-Pro Associates.

Our Community Ambassadors are partners of the centre. The ECRC is a collaborative organisation, and we are committed to fostering positive relationships not just with our policing partners, but academic institutions and businesses too. These Community Ambassadors are organisations with honest intentions, who understand the importance of cyber resilience, and who are committed to spreading their knowledge both within their own customer base and supply chain, as well as in the wider community.

A-Pro Associates are a boutique and dynamic business insurance brokerage. They offer a full range of commercial insurance solutions and are committed to serving enterprises of any size, from sole traders and other SMEs, up to large corporate entities. This is valued by the centre, who are committed to supporting SMEs in their journey to cyber resilience.

As a company, they are cyber insurance pioneers, being one of the first to offer cyber insurance solutions to SMEs in the UK many years ago. They believe cyber insurance should form an essential part of any business’s cybersecurity strategy, as it gives them a safety-net in case a cyber-attack occurs, helping them to stay on their feet. They work closely with all the major players to ensure that market-leading coverage is obtained and offer a free risk assessment of a client’s domain and network, to highlight any current vulnerabilities or existing data leaks. Clients also receive continual active protection, to alert them to any new risks or issues during the lifetime of their policy.

Jon Layton, the Managing Director of A-Pro Associates states:

‘It is now crucial for UK businesses of all sizes to consider Cyber insurance, there is now more chance of a cyber claim than traditional business claim types! The majority of claims occur as a result of human error, it is therefore vital to ensure that Cyber insurance forms part of any business’s cyber security strategy!’
